Compensation and Benefits Manager

We’re looking for a dedicated Compensation & Benefits Manager to join our HR team! You’ll play a crucial role in establishing international cooperation based on expertise. You’ll work closely with the Chief People Officer (CPO) to design our reward strategy and collaborate with regional HR teams to enhance their compensation and benefits policies and practices. You’ll create and implement standards that align with VYNCKE’s mission and values.

about the job

As our Compensation & Benefits Manager, you will:

  • Design and execute our global reward strategy in collaboration with the CPO, ensuring it complies with local regulations, remains competitive in the market, and supports business agility. You’ll work with regional HR professionals to translate this strategy into budgets and operational processes, policies, regulations, and practices.
  • Act as the process owner for the global reward framework, covering everything from job classification and benchmarking to variable compensation models and benefit packages, including fleet management. You’ll also oversee the global mobility program in Europe.
  • Lead and execute projects related to compensation improvements, compliance, and structural changes. You’ll set standards for benchmarking practices and train HR teams worldwide on these processes. Additionally, you’ll complete our job classification framework and spearhead the design of a future-proof HRIS.
  • Partner with directors and senior management, helping them make informed decisions and involving them as stakeholders in your projects.
  • Act as the primary contact person for external specialists, ensuring reliable benchmarking and data analysis, and lead reward and mobility officers in executing the agreed processes and practices.

About you

We imagine our ideal candidate would:

  • Have at least 10 years of experience in HR, including a minimum of 5 years as a Compensation & Benefits Manager with international exposure.
  • Have solid experience in job classification systems, benchmarking, and benefit plans.
  • Have a proven track record in project-based work, process optimization, and HR strategy implementation.
  • Excel in stakeholder management, with the confidence and assertiveness to guide others towards strategic decisions and practical solutions.
  • Be fluent in English and Dutch. Additional languages, such as Spanish or French, are a plus.
