Customer Service Field Engineer

We are seeking a dedicated Customer Service Field Engineer to join our team. Your role will involve delivering outstanding after-sales services, including inspections, preventive maintenance, repairs and technical troubleshooting. On-site, you will oversee clients and subcontractors, while in the office, you will manage intervention planning, administration, debriefings and helpdesk support. about the job

As our Customer Service Field Engineer, you will:

  • Collaborate with the Customer Service Managers to prepare and plan service interventions.
  • Coordinate on-site service interventions, including meetings, safety training, job safety analysis and risk assessments.
  • Execute or supervise service interventions, coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure smooth site operations.
  • Identify and troubleshoot problems, adjust combustion settings with emission measurements and ensure all maintained parts undergo a thorough functional check.
  • Manage all necessary documentation and ensure it compliancy to safety and quality regulations.
  • Provide remote client support via the helpdesk and manage records in the CRM system.

About you

We imagine our ideal candidate would:

  • Hold a degree in technical engineering (or equivalent by experience) and have at least 5 years of technical field experience in customer service or (after) sales.
  • Be experienced working in boiler and biomass combustion. Knowledge of electrics, PLC (S7), Intouch Wonderware and WinCC is a plus.
  • Combine good organizational skills with a customer-oriented mindset and a proactive personality.
  • Have excellent communication skills and love working with others in a team.
  • Be willing to travel and work abroad in Asia and other countries, from a couple of days to several weeks.
  • Be fluent in English, with local and other languages as a plus.
