Customer Service Manager

In this role, you’ll be the customer’s go-to person once our installation is up and running. You’ll actively engage with your customer portfolio, maximizing customer satisfaction by offering services throughout the lifespan of our VYNCKE solutions.

about the job

As our Customer Service Manager, you will:

  • Offer our customers VYNCKE solutions for maintenance and improvement of their installation.
  • Proactively address the clients’ needs.
  • Build and maintain a strong relationship with our customers in Asia and Africa.
  • Oversee the budget, forecasting, and tracking of our maintenance activities. You’ll also manage the entire order process, from quotation to invoice and payment, with the support of our administrative team.
  • Organize and coordinate the implementation of maintenance and service contracts. This includes arranging inspections, preventive maintenance, and repair work. You’ll have the support of our Customer Service Engineers and Mechanics, or you may coordinate with subcontractors as needed.
  • Address technical issues and ensure they are resolved appropriately.

About you

We imagine our ideal candidate would:

  • Have an engineering degree or equivalent experience, with at least 3 to 5 years experience in a technical-commercial role, such as customer service, account management or (after)sales.
  • Have experience working in a multinational company. Knowledge of the wood panel industry and CRM Dynamics 365 is a plus.
  • Exhibit a keen sense for commercial opportunities and cultivating long-term customer relations.
  • Combine strong organizational skills with effective communication skills, common sense, and creativity.
  • Be willing to travel for short periods.
  • Be fluent in English, with proficiency in local and other languages as a plus.
