Customer Service Technician

We’re looking for a Customer Service Technician to support our Customer Service Team.
You maintain and repair our energy installations throughout their lifespan. Together with the Customer Service Engineer you represent VYNCKE on site.

about the job

As our Customer Service Technician, you will:

  • Collaborate with the Customer Service Engineer to repair mechanical propulsion systems and grate components.
  • Give feedback and suggest improvements to the Customer Service Manager.
  • Keep track of hours worked, materials used, and note them on the intervention performance sheet.
  • Represent VYNCKE on-site towards clients and subcontractors.
  • Travel frequently and stay abroad mainly in Western Europe and potentially Africa and America (max. 5 working days/week).

About you

We imagine our ideal candidate would:

  • Have a practical and/or technical education, as well as some experience with manual labor. A degree isn’t necessary, but it’s a plus.
  • Be interested in industrial mechanics, with good technical insight and problem-solving skills.
  • Have electrical experience and knowledge, as a bonus.
  • Not be afraid of heights or tight spaces.
  • Be willing to travel and work abroad.
