Project Engineer

As Project Engineer you assist the Project Manager in the realization of VYNCKE projects in Europe and beyond.

You will execute technical, administrative and coordination tasks in order to meet the different project milestones and to document the processes.

The Project engineer reports to the Business Unit Manager.

about the job

As Project Engineer you will

Support the Project manager by ensuring all purchase orders are prepared, followed-up and transported to the site on time.
Plan & prioritize the project tasks to meet deadlines at each milestone
Organize & prepare internal progress meetings with team members of other departments to discuss timing, cost, possible challenges.
Be the first technical point of contact for the customer/suppliers and the rest of the project team
Ensure documentation regarding the project is up to date and delivered to the right stakeholders in time
Closely collaborate with and Update the Project Manager regarding all changes, challenges, purchases…

About you

We imagine our ideal candidate would

Have a master’s degree in a relevant engineering domain.
Have a first relevant experience of minimum 1 year in areas related to project management and execution in B2B engineering industries.
Have a strong technical interest & the ambition to support the project team in delivering what is contractually requested.
Have a real craving for learning all about VYNCKE projects: both from a technical and a project management point of view.
Have a strong interest in collaborating with other Vynckeneers and communicating accordingly to ensure efficient project delivery.
Be fluent in English – any other European knowledge is a plus, Spanish/Catalan is a strong asset.
