Project Field Engineer

As Project Field Engineer, you’ll be responsible for site management, erection supervision and the startup of our energy installations. You’ll be the bridge between VYNCKE and our client on-site.

about the job

As our Project Field Engineer, you will:

  • Oversee the erection of the project on-site, respecting the project milestones, monitoring the budget and making sure the safety rules are followed.
  • Manage the logistic operations on-site.
  • Coordinate the setup, finetuning and commissioning of the plant by managing the local erection teams and subcontractors.
  • Collaborate and communicate with the Project Team.

About you

We imagine our ideal candidate would:

  • Have a master’s or bachelor’s degree in fields such as industrial sciences, mechanical, mechatronics, robotics, control, automation & instrumentation, electrical, or have equivalent experience.
  • Have 5 years’ experience in installing and commissioning large mechanical equipment.
  • Have knowledge of electrics, PLC (S7/ Allen Bradley) and process visualization is a plus.
  • Have an enthusiastic though mature nature, strong perseverance, excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Be willing to travel and work abroad in Asia and other countries, from a couple of days to several weeks or even months at a time.
  • Be fluent in English, with local and other language as a plus.
