Project Field Team Manager

We’re looking for a Project Field Team Manager to reinforce our team of Project Field Engineers. You’ll be the driving force behind a team of skilled Site Managers and Commissioning Engineers, coordinating activities during the various stages of setting up our complex biomass installations.

about the job

As our Project Field Team Manager, you will:

  • Mentor, motivate and guide your on-site team in erecting and commissioning our technical turnkey installations across Europe.
  • Establish strong contacts to further build your team with the right people.
  • Streamline your team’s working methods and tools, making sure all safety protocols are followed.
  • Work together with Project Field Team Managers from other units to standardize field processes and exchange best practices.
  • Effectively manage resources on our projects, ensuring optimal outcomes for both your team and the client.
  • Work closely with Sales and Project Managers to ensure that site management is budgeted and monitored as correctly as possible. You succeed in making the right choices for the future based on budget analyses.

About you

We imagine our ideal candidate would:

  • Have at least 20 years experience in an international industrial setting, ideally with large-scale capex projects. You combine people management experience with a background in site management, commissioning, or on-site safety.
  • Show decisive leadership skills and a can-do attitude, inspiring and motivating your team.
  • Combine collaboration and communication skills with a knack for structural improvements. Your conflict resolution skills ensure minimal friction with clients or suppliers.
  • Be willing to travel. You will be based in Harelbeke but spend 10% to 20% of your time abroad (short trips, mainly in Western-Europe).
  • Be fluent in English, with proficiency in other European languages as a plus.
