Regional Account Manager (Africa)

We’re looking for a Regional Account Manager to join our team! In this role, you’ll manage and nurture business relationships in your region by building and maintaining a strong network. You’ll also be responsible for implementing and managing the business strategy for your area.

With your network and deep understanding of the region, you’ll work closely with Sales Directors and Project Sales Managers during the sales process, support Project Managers during execution, and Customer Service Managers in after-sales. Your goal will be to enhance customer satisfaction and create new opportunities throughout the installation’s lifetime.

As our Regional Account Manager, you will:

  • Share market dynamics and insights with your sales colleagues.
  • Actively expand your network and create new opportunities for VYNCKE in the region.
  • Join and assist the Project Sales Manager during the sales process, including evaluations and initial meetings.
  • Be responsible for your customer network and serve as the key point of contact for customers in your region, beyond just the sales process (including project executions and customer service).
  • Help find the right suppliers and local (sub)contractors for project execution.

About you

We imagine our ideal candidate would:

  • Have a master’s degree in a relevant engineering field, with at least 5 years of experience in a technical role involving direct customer communication, preferably in pre-sales.
  • Have at least 2 years of experience in a technical or commercial role in the dedicated area.
  • Have experience in building and maintaining relationships at an international level and a network in the region.
  • Have solid experience in collaborating across functions and departments.
  • Be able to travel extensively to, or live in, the region.
  • Be fluent in English and French.
