Technical Support Engineer

We’re looking for a proactive and customer-focused Technical Service Desk Specialist to join our team. In this role, you’ll be the go-to technical contact for our customers, helping them troubleshoot, learn, and get the most out of our solutions. Your work ensures that every customer receives fast, clear, and effective technical support.

You’ll report to the Customer Service Manager and work closely with experts across VYNCKE.

about the job

As our Technical Service Desk Specialist, you will:

  • Act as the primary technical contact for customers, offering remote troubleshooting and clear step-by-step guidance. 
  • Perform in-depth technical analyses on customer inquiries. You coordinate internally with various technical experts in their domains (e.g., automation), and work closely with the Customer Service Manager to ensure timely resolution of issues.
  • Assist in setting up and expanding the platform where cases are managed to ensure optimal customer support.
  • Handle occasional on-site service when required.
  • Deliver training sessions to customers, both remotely and on-site.
  • Enhance service efficiency by keeping meticulous records in CRM systems like IFS, SmartPlant, etc.

About you

We imagine our ideal candidate would:

  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in engineering and have proven experience in customer support, maintenance or in the field.
  • Be proactive and detail-oriented, with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Be committed to quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Be eager to learn and grow within the role.
  • Be willing to work abroad (25% of your time).
  • Have a good knowledge of Dutch, English and French.
