Technical Support Engineer

Are you passionate about solving technical challenges and supporting customers worldwide? We’re looking for a Technical Support Engineer to join our dynamic Customer Service team.

In this role, you’ll be the go-to expert for our customers, providing remote technical support, troubleshooting issues, and offering guidance to ensure our energy installations perform at their best. Most of your work will be remote, but you’ll occasionally step on-site to lend your expertise when needed.

You’ll collaborate closely with the Customer Service Manager and work alongside a passionate team of specialists. Whether it’s conducting remote diagnostics, offering step-by-step instructions, providing training, or taking the lead in field interventions, your technical knowledge and problem-solving mindset will make a real difference.

about the job

As our Technical Support Engineer, you will:

  • Be the first point of contact for the customer, providing remote technical assistance via phone, email, or online platforms.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues, guiding customers step-by-step through troubleshooting, ensuring minimal downtime.
  • Provide after-hours support for urgent technical issues by managing the hotline helpdesk on a rotational basis.
  • Conduct hands-on troubleshooting to identify root causes on site when remote resolution is not possible.
  • Coordinate with the Customer Service Manager and/or Customer Service Officer for parts replacement or complex repairs.
  • Maintain an accurate client database and service reports in our CRM system.

About you

Our ideal candidate would:

  • Hold a degree in technical engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Have at least 5 years of technical field or customer service experience. Experience with remote diagnostic tools or providing virtual support would be a plus.
  • Have knowledge of control and automation, electrical diagrams, and ideally PLC software (S7 or Allen Bradley).
  • Communicate clearly and enjoy working in a team.
  • Be willing to travel and work abroad across Asia and other countries, from a few days to several weeks.
  • Be fluent in English, with local or additional languages as a plus.
